Student Exchange

 

The Cultural Exchange Programme is a unique initiative of Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan that strengthens the spirit of national integration by providing students with opportunities to experience the diverse cultures, traditions, and lifestyles of different regions of India. Promoting friendship, mutual respect, and cultural appreciation, the programme enables students to learn beyond the classroom through meaningful interactions with their peers and host families. Cultural Exchange Programme with Bhavan's NTPC Vidya Mandir, Mouda, Nagpur As part of this initiative, a team of nine students (seven boys and two girls) and two teachers, Mr. Hareendranath and Mrs. Bindu B. Nair, from Bhavan's Munshi Vidyashram, Tripunithura, visited Bhavan's NTPC Vidya Mandir, Mouda, Nagpur, from 28th January to 2nd February 2026

 

 

 

 

The exchange continued when the team from Bhavan's NTPC Vidya Mandir, Mouda, visited Bhavan's Munshi Vidyashram, Tripunithura, from 4th to 9th February 2026. They were accorded a traditional Kerala welcome by the Principal, Smt. Latha S., staff, and students. During their stay, they presented a captivating dance drama depicting the cultural heritage of Maharashtra and visited several prominent destinations, including Hill Palace Museum, Cochin Shipyard's Vigyana Sagar Marine Institute, Fort Kochi, Mattancherry, Marine Drive, Kalady, Synthite, and a chocolate factory. They also enjoyed a Water Metro ride and the hospitality of their host families.

The programme concluded with a heartfelt farewell, celebrating the friendships forged and the cultural understanding gained through the exchange. It proved to be an enriching and memorable experience for both schools, reinforcing the values of unity in diversity, cooperation, and mutual respect. The school remains grateful to the Management of Bhavan's Kochi Kendra for providing such a meaningful and unforgettable learning experience.
