The Alumni Association of Bhavan’s Munshi Vidyashram was officially formed on 7th January 2020 under the name “Ritorno-The comeback ”, in the presence of Smt. Sheela Dilip, Smt. Nirmala V. K and many enthusiastic former students of the school. The formal election process for the formation of the Association was conducted by Smt. Sheela Dilip, and representatives from among the ex-students were elected unopposed to various posts of the Executive Committee. The elected office bearers — President Vishnu Narayan (2015 batch), Vice President Maria Baby (2015 batch), and Treasurer Mithun Mathew (2017 batch) — were felicitated by the Principal, Smt. Sujatha Nambiar, who extended her best compliments and wishes to the newly formed team. The first Alumni Day celebration was held on 26th January 2020 in the school auditorium, marking the formal inauguration of the Alumni Association. The ceremony was inaugurated by former Principal Smt. Sunitha. The traditional lighting of the lamp was performed along with the guest of the day by the President, Vice President, Principal, Vice Principal, and Alumni Coordinators Smt. Sheela Dilip and Smt. Nirmala V K. The event was graced by Principal Smt. Sujatha Nambiar, Vice Principal Smt. Latha S., faculty members, students, and a large gathering of ex-students. Alumni President Vishnu Narayan welcomed the gathering with inspiring words. All delegates were honored with mementos and flowers as a token of love and appreciation. The day featured vibrant performances by alumni, joyful interactions, and refreshments, creating a warm and refreshing atmosphere. A significant number of ex-students registered themselves as members of the Alumni family. The vote of thanks was delivered by Alumni Vice President Maria Baby. The event, entirely managed by the dynamic Alumni Association team, was a grand success. Key Initiatives (Academic Year 2020–2021): During the pandemic, the Alumni Association supported two students facing financial difficulties by providing each of them with a smartphone and unlimited internet connection to enable uninterrupted participation in online classes. The required funds were collected by batch representatives within a week, and the devices were distributed on 29th June 2020. The Alumni Association further extended support by sponsoring the school fees of two students in need. With coordinated efforts from alumni batch representatives, the required amount was raised within a week and the fees were paid on 1st June 2021.
