INTERNATIONAL YOGA DAY 2025

The International Yoga Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm at Bhavan’s Munshi Vidyashram, Tripunithura on June 20 and 21. The programme was designed to create awareness about the importance of yoga in maintaining physical and mental well-being. The celebration began with a soulful prayer by the School Choir, followed by a welcome address by Niharika B of Class IX B.

A vibrant Yoga Display was presented by the students of Classes VI to VIII, showcasing various postures and breathing techniques with precision and grace. A special address by the guest, Sri. Sreeja Ajayan, enlightened the students about the significance of incorporating yoga into daily life. This was followed by a yoga session with the guest, in which students actively participated and experienced the calming effects of guided yoga practice. I

n addition to the main events, a drawing activity was conducted for students of Classes I, II, and III, giving them a creative platform to express their understanding of yoga through art. The colourful and imaginative drawings reflected their enthusiasm and awareness of healthy living. Yoga session wsas also held for the  teachers and students.The Yoga Day celebrations successfully highlighted the role of yoga in shaping a balanced lifestyle, fostering harmony in body and mind.
