VAN MAHOTSAV CELEBRATIONS 2026
Van Mahotsav Week was celebrated with a variety of activities aimed at fostering environmental awareness and a sense of responsibility towards nature. The celebrations began with an inaugural address by Dr. K. P. Ouseph, Former Principal Chief Conservator of Forests, followed by a tree plantation drive. Students enthusiastically participated in essay writing, slogan writing, collage making, drawing competitions, and waste management awareness sessions. A special session on the vision of Dr. K. M. Munshi and a presentation based on Sugathakumari's poem Oru Thai Nadam inspired students to appreciate and protect the environment. The celebrations concluded with students planting saplings at their homes, reinforcing the message that every tree planted is a step towards a greener and more sustainable future.
