NIGHT SKY WATCH
Bhavan’s Munshi Vidyashram celebrated National Science Day with great enthusiasm through a special programme organized by the school Space Club COSMOS. The event aimed to promote scientific curiosity and a spirit of exploration among students.
The event was graced by eminent resource persons including Athul R. T. Researcher and Data Scientist with an MPhil in Physics from CUSAT, known for his work in artificial intelligence, machine learning, Astrosat-based space research, and neutron star studies. As a member of AASTRO Kerala, he has inspired students across the state through astronomy outreach programmes.
Saneesh C K, Founder of Edu Mithra Intellectual Services Pvt. Ltd. and the International Space Club and Santhikrishnan S, Satellite Oceanographer and PhD scholar from CUSAT were also present.
The presence of the Principal Smt. Latha S and the Vice Principals added grace to the occasion. The session concluded with an inspiring interaction by Dr. Santhikrishnan S, encouraging students to pursue science with curiosity and confidence. The programme highlighted the importance of scientific temper and discovery.
A major attraction of the evening was the astronomy observation session, where teachers,students and parents actively participated in observing celestial objects using a telescope, making the learning experience both engaging and memorable.
