SECURE BYTES 3.0
Bhavan’s Munshi Vidyashram, Tripunithura, organised SECURE BYTES 3.0 on 30th October 2025 in collaboration with Rajagiri School of Engineering & Technology, the Internet Society of India (Trivandrum Chapter), and the PTA of BMV to promote cybersecurity awareness among students. The event began with a prayer and welcome address, followed by felicitations and opening remarks highlighting the school’s continued commitment to digital safety. A session on cybersecurity and responsible online behaviour, led by Principal Ms. Latha S, educated students about safe online practices, cyber hygiene, and reporting cybercrimes through official portals. Around 250 students and 25 teachers attended the workshop. The event also featured an Inter School Cybersecurity Quiz, where Global Public School, Thiruvaniyoor emerged as winners among 13 participating teams.
As part of the Community Outreach Programme, students from St. George’s HSS, Vennikulam visited the school’s Robotics Lab on the same day. They explored robotics, 3D modelling with Tinkercad, 3D printing, Virtual Reality, and Arduino-based coding using PictoBlox through interactive, hands-on activities. Students designed 3D models, experienced VR simulations, and learned coding logic to control LEDs. The session fostered creativity, curiosity, and practical understanding of modern technologies. Overall, the combined initiatives of SECURE BYTES 3.0 and the Community Outreach Programme successfully promoted digital awareness, technological learning, and innovation among students.
