TEACHERS' DAY
Teachers’ Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm and respect at our institution on 5th September. The programme began with a solemn prayer, followed by the India Pledge delivered by Mr. Jyothishkumar, Faculty in Yoga. The news of the day was presented by Ms. Neethu P. D., Faculty of Chemistry, and a motivating thought was shared by Ms. Simi V. Nair, Faculty of English.
The formal function commenced with a warm Welcome Address by Ms. Preethy Prabhas, Faculty of the English Department. The highlight of the celebration was the inspiring speech by Dr. Hafeez Rahman Padiyath, Chairman of Sunrise Hospital, who graced the occasion as the Chief Guest.
This was followed by a heartfelt Felicitations address by Sri. Prajeesh Panicker, PTA President. Students of Std. XII expressed their gratitude towards teachers through a touching Gurudakshina ceremony. The PTA honoured the teachers for their valuable contributions, making the event even more special.
The programme concluded with a Vote of Thanks delivered by Ms. Nanditha J of Maths Department., expressing gratitude to all dignitaries, teachers, and students.
The Teachers’ Day celebration was a heartfelt tribute to the mentors who shape young minds and inspire future generations. The entire programme was filled with gratitude, respect, and admiration for teachers. It not only strengthened the bond between students and teachers but also reminded everyone of the vital role educators play in nation-building. The event ended on a joyous and proud note, leaving lasting memories for both teachers and students.
