Bhavan's Munshi Vidyashram, Tripunithura, celebrated World Environment Day with great enthusiasm and fan-fare on 6th June 2022. Dr Abesh Reghuvaran, Asst Professor, Cochin University was the chief guest of the day. He inaugurated the programme by planting a sapling in the school compound. Dr Abesh spoke on the importance of conserving our flora and fauna. He cited the examples of Greta Thumberg and Licypriya Kangujam to point out that one can be a champion of the environment even at a very young age. He distributed seeds to the young students passionate in gardening. Exchange of samplings was done among the school Guides The students of Std XII enthralled the audience with a stellar dance performance. Principal Smt Mini K and Principal designate Smt Latha S extended their whole-hearted support.The programme spread awareness among the students about saving the environment and to make our mother earth greener and healthier.
